Dynamic 21st Century literacies, challenge all disciplines and charges e-Learning with new imperatives. The impact of e-Learning for future generations of students is expected to increase. One key role for e-Learning concerns new ways of inquiry. This symposium begins with presentations from four Macau school principals, sharing e-Learning experiences in their school, followed by discussions from participants including teachers, principals and researchers from Macau and Hong Kong. This symposium aims to share educational experiences and challenges encountered as they engage in efforts to help the younger generations attain their full potential and become competent in shaping their own future through transformative uses of technology in supporting learning and teaching. This symposium will close with a presentation by the Discussants on the progress made in e-Learning in Macau and Hong Kong schools and the next steps needed to enhance and sustain the initiatives that have already been started.
