Abstract

In this symposium three teachers from HKU will present on their individual teaching projects. Dr. Susan Bridges from the Faculty of Dentistry will discuss the dynamic process of curriculum re-design leading to the 2012 HKU Outstanding Teaching Team Award. Dr Neel Sharma will discuss the findings of a mixed methods study evaluating the use of the flipped classroom at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, HKU. Finally Professor Ui Soon Khoo from the Department of Pathology will describe how the Pathology Department harnessed technological advances in digital imaging to improve the teaching and learning of pathology.
